Carrara Pro 7 is a graphic animation, landscaping and modeling program that contains a whole set of tools and applications that allow the creation of great looking 3D objects and scenes. It includes everything from multi-pass Rendering, 3D Paint, Vertex Modeling, to UV Editing/Unfolding and more.
Use the different paint modes with the 3D paint tool like brushing, airbrushing, stamping, eyedropper, eraser, and more.
Version Pro has rendering optimizations for transparency, plus other enhancements. It improves memory management of the computer resulting in better and faster results.
Different from the non-professional version, it has a polygon mesh with a UV editor tool that includes 3D view and 2D view, also tools to manipulate UV values. Additionally with the Unfold function, you can define points where the UV template will be unfolded and subsequently re-united using the same points.
Only in this version you will find the Graph Editor which gives direct access to the motion curves of the objects as well as the animation of parameters allowing to have a precise control over your work.
Other features included only in the Professional version are:
The NLA toolset which helps optimize the screen space so the users can work more freely on an animation.
Network fast Rendering with multi-processor support using a node setup that includes batch rendering.
Ocean surface simulation which integrates animation controls over speed, direction, movement and height. Depth effects are calculated by the program by defining the light absorption conditions.
